Since July 1, 1979, we’ve been right here, taking care of folks in Forks for over 40 years. Our little pharmacy has seen three waves of ownership—starting with Stan and Linda Peterson, then Chuck and Pura Carlson, and now Josuah Tilus at the helm. We’ve always stayed true to what matters most: solving the kinds of problems this community faces every day. Whether it’s making things easier for you or just being here to talk things out, we’ll always bend over backward to take care of our neighbors. We follow Christ’s example in truly serving the community of Forks. Christ came to serve, and the medical care we provide points people to Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Under Josuah’s ownership, Chinook Pharmacy and Variety has joined the Cascadia Pharmacy Group, a collective of over 30 independently owned pharmacies. This partnership allows us to stay true to our small-town roots while giving us the resources and support to serve Forks even better. Being part of Cascadia Pharmacy Group means we can bring you the latest in pharmacy care, share in the knowledge of other like-minded pharmacists, and keep our focus on what’s most important—being here for you. With this new chapter, we’re excited to grow alongside our community and ensure we’re here to meet your needs for future generations.

Fun Fact: Josuah was valedictorian of his high school and summa cum laude of his undergraduate and pharmacy degrees. While in pharmacy school, he also trained to become a powerlifter.

About Forks
Forks is a tiny town with a big heart tucked away in the misty Olympic Peninsula. This place has seen it all, from Native Quileute lands to a booming timber town that’s been through the wringer. Forks is Quileute territory—a beautiful prairie surrounded by forests so thick that you can barely see daylight.
Settlers started arriving during the late 1870s, and logging quickly became the town’s bread and butter. For decades, Forks was the timber capital of the world but then came the 1980s and 1990s when logging was significantly reduced thanks to environmental regulations and the spotted owl. Unemployment hit hard, and the town was hurting.
But here’s the thing about Forks—these folks don’t give up easily. The town started changing, building up tourism, and finding new ways to make a living. These days, we’ve got a timber museum, and we’re famous for being the setting of the Twilight vampire books!
Today, Forks is a mix of old-school loggers, retirees, hard-working residents, and tourists looking to explore the stunning Olympic National Park. It’s a town that’s been knocked down but always gets back up, with a spirit as tall as the old-growth trees around it.
